Are you a planner?  Do you plan out your product launch or new program offering or do you try to create everything as you go along?

One of my favorite business tools is a project management system.  This is an absolute necessity if you work with a team, have program or product launches or you just want to make sure everything that needs to get completed in your business does.

I would be lost without this system in my business.  I work with several different teams and many clients who have multiple projects happening at the same time.  My project management system keeps me sane and on track.

A project management system allows you to create a project and then track everything that needs to be done within that project.  It also lets you assign different tasks to your different team members so each person knows what and when those tasks need to be completed.  You can setup notifications, too, so that team members are reminded a few days or a week in advance of upcoming tasks.

You can also decide from the task list if you need another person on your team such as a copywriter or graphic artist.

There are many different project management programs out there  – one for every type of budget and team size, so you’re sure to find the one that meets your needs.

One of the best things about project management systems is that once it’s created, you can re-use it.  If you have several programs or products that you are getting ready to launch, once you create the project for the first one, you can copy the project for the next launch.  You can tweak the tasks as needed, but you’re not starting from scratch, which is a huge time saver!
